Broward’s Cultural Division Announces Gretchen Weihe Fasulo as the 2006 Arts Teacher of the Year

Don’t Miss the Ceremony that Celebrates It All -At the Broward Center for the Performing Arts on Wednesday, October 25, 2006
WHAT: Broward’s Cultural Division invites all the community to the 2006 Arts Teacher of the Year award ceremony. This award, the only one of its kind in the State of Florida, honors one arts teacher each year, for contribution to the arts in the classroom.
WHO: This year’s winner is Gretchen Weihe Fasulo, music teacher appreciated for her innovative projects and for her love for the music shown by extraordinary teaching methods that enrich the lives of her students. For her program, Broward County Elementary Music Festival, she received the Innovative Project Award in the State of Florida; she is the assistant director of the Girl Choir of South Florida; a board member of the Broward Music Educators Association; a coordinator for the All County Chorus and a former president of the Broward County Elementary Music Teachers Association.
