BROWARD COUNTY, FL – Broward County Commission’s Cultural Division will host a Cultural Executives committee meeting on Wednesday, May 16, at Florida Grand Opera’s Josephine S. Leiser, Opera Center, 221 SW Third Avenue in Fort Lauderdale, from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. The featured topics will include Arts Advocacy and Updates from the Broward Cultural Council.
The Cultural Executives Committee meetings are designed to keep directors of not-for-profit arts institutions informed about important issues and opportunities within the cultural arts community. Arrive early to network and eat your brown bag lunch from 11:30 a.m. to Noon. The business agenda will run from Noon to 1:00 p.m. Featured speakers will include Broward Cultural Council members Michael Bassichis and Dr. Clair Crawford, as well as Broward Cultural Council Chair Anthony Abbate.
