Members of the Community Invited to a Dialogue


WHO
Artist team of Ed McGowin and Claudia DeMonte, commissioned by the Broward County Commission’s Cultural Division and Broward Sheriff’s Office Department of Fire Rescue and Emergency Services, to design and install a permanent, hand-carved artwork, to be integrated on the exterior of four new Fire Rescue Facilities.

Airport/Seaport/EMS and Logistical Warehouse, SW 42nd St, Dania Beach

HAZ-MAT Fire Station and Training Tower, SW 47th Ave., Fort Lauderdale

Everglades Fire Rescue Station, I-75 Mile Marker 38, West Broward County

West Park Fire Rescue Station, 2610 SW 40th –Ave., West Park

WHAT
Fire Rescue Facility’s Educational Outreach Program. The program is geared to provide the community and the artists with an opportunity to engage in a dialogue about the project and the individual characteristics of the communities in which the artwork is located.
